

Lexi Staveley RVN
Head Nurse
Lexi joined Forrest House in 2019 after being on maternity leave. She is our Head Nurse and has a particular interest in student nurse training, nutrition and weight loss clinics. Lexi qualified from Myerscough college in 2016 and carried on working in referral practices until she joined us here. Outside of work she helps her husband run the farm with 250 sheep and woodland pigs. When she has free time she enjoys playing tennis, netball and going for walks with her three dogs and daughter.


Amy Rodgerson BSc (Hons) RVN
Amy grew up in Newcastle Upon Tyne before moving to Bristol to complete her Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterniary Science degree, graduating in 2019. After staying there for a post graduate year in order to develop her advanced nursing skills, she decided to move back up north, joining us in 2020. Amy’s key areas of interest are anaesthesia and weight management. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, pub quizzes, and cuddling her cat Timothy.


Olivia McFarlane
Student Veterinary Nurse
Liv grew up in North Yorkshire before moving to Nottingham to start studying and to follow her career of Veterinary Nursing at Nottingham Trent University. She returned back to the north to start her year placement at Forrest house with the hope of graduating in the Summer of 2021 and to carry on being part of the team here! Her key interests in practice (after cuddling the inpatients) involve anaesthesia and microscopy.
Outside of work Liv enjoys baking, travelling, being with family and friends and relaxing with her Sprocker Spaniel Albert and sassy rescue cat Milly.

Debbie Lacy
Animal Care Assistant and Head of Dispensary
Debbie joined Forrest House Vets in 2016 after a long career in Hospital Pharmacy, which she has a particular interest in. She has lived in Northallerton since 1988 and has raised two children here until they spread their wings. Debbie enjoys meeting all the small furries who visit Northallerton branch.
In her spare time she enjoys walking her dogs, baking, cake decorating, gardening and keeping tropical fish.


Angie Watson
Animal Nursing Assistant
Angie has worked at Forrest House Vets since 2001 having previously worked at a local stud for 13 years. She works as a nurse, receptionist and TB administrator. Angie enjoys going out on farm visits to assist vets with blood sampling, calving’s, lambing’s and horse radiography.
Angie has a dog called Elsa who can frequently be seen running round Bedale park or waiting patiently outside Thomas the bakers or local butchers.
Angie has competed in 14 half marathons and a couple of triathlons raising money for animal charities. However, she feels that those days are mostly behind her now.
